Description

Precise Control

The nozzle is the part of the injector that delivers the fuel into the engine cylinder. It is precisely designed to atomize the fuel into a fine spray to ensure that it mixes thoroughly with the air in the combustion chamber. The nozzle features one small orifice through which the fuel is sprayed. The fine mist or spray pattern also ensures that the fuel burns efficiently and cleanly, with minimal waste or emissions.

Complete Accessories

The injector gasket is designed to create a seal between the fuel injector and the engine block, and prevent fuel leaks from the injector body. And the aluminum cap is engineered to fit tightly over the nozzle, forming a seal that helps to prevent fuel leaks and maintain the correct fuel pressure within the injector. The cap is also shaped to help control the spray pattern of the fuel, which is important for ensuring efficient combustion and minimizing emissions.

Notes for Replacing Fuel Injectors

  • Check that the fuel injectors are compatible with your model before installation and make sure that the product you received is complete and free of defects.
  • Replace any other components that may have contributed to the failure of the previous injectors, such as fuel filters or fuel pressure regulators.
  • Clean the fuel system to remove any debris or contamination that may have clogged the old injectors, and make sure there is no residual fuel pressure in the system before removing the old injectors.

  • Lubricate the new O-rings or seals with a small amount of clean engine oil before installing the injectors.
  • Follow the manufacturer’s torque specifications and installation instructions carefully to ensure proper seating of the injectors in the fuel rail and cylinder head.
  • After installation, verify that the fuel system pressure and injector operation is within specifications using the appropriate diagnostic tools.

How to Replace

1. Relieve fuel system pressure by disconnecting the fuel pump fuse or relay and running the engine until it stalls.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Locate the fuel injectors in the intake manifold or the cylinder head.
4. Remove the fuel injectors.
5. Install the new fuel injectors.
6. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
7. Turn the ignition on for 20-30 seconds to pressurize the fuel system, and then start the engine.
