While bolting up your new STI transmission in your WRX chassis you notice the connectors don’t match the old harness. Have no fear, iWire is here! Our transmission adapter solves this problem by just plugging in a few connectors to get the transmission running and driving in your manual chassis. 

Fix Transmission Swap Related Issues
Illuminate the night behind you as you back up with working reverse lights and get rid of that pesky Neutral Position Switch Code (P0851). You’ll want to make sure you have the right Neutral Position Switch Type. Check out our blog post for more info.

Jumpstart Your DCCD Install
To get the DCCD functionality working, check out our DCCD Controllers with wiring kits which include this adapter. This is a great feature that improves drivability of the car and performance of the transmission. If you already have a DCCD Controller simply run the Red wire (power) and White + Black wires (DCCD controls) provided in your kit to your controller. 

NOTE: OEM DCCD Controllers will not work outside of the STi they came from. More about this can be found here.

Some newer transmissions do not have the built-in vehicle speed sensor that the older chassis’ ECU and gauge cluster need to read speed. Check out our VSSPro Plug and Play Wiring Kit to get the speedometer working.
