The front upper control arms consist of 45 gauge steel with 36mm pipe outer diameter and 4mm wall thickness to feature a higher strength and resistance to deformation compared to ordinary A3 steel. 2. During installation, the spring or the tire may be touched. If it touches the tire, it needs to add the flange. However, there are various cases when touching the spring, so you can always contact us if you have questions.
3. The upper control arms must work in conjunction with the lift kit to add 2-4 inches of height to the suspension system, providing more clearance for larger tires and enhancing the vehicle’s off-road capability and appearance.

• Poor Steering Control: A worn or damaged upper control arm can cause the vehicle to understeer or oversteer when driving, especially at higher speeds or when making turns.
• Wobbly Steering Wheel: A wobbly or loose steering wheel is an obvious sign of wear and tear on the chassis system.
• Strange Noises: If you always hear strange noises such as squeaking and creaking (rubber rubbing), clicking and clacking (metal hitting), the control arm body, bushing or ball joint may be damaged.

How to Install

4. Carefully remove the old upper control arm from the vehicle, taking note of its orientation and position.
5. Install the new upper control arm in the same position as the old one, making sure it aligns with the mounting points on the vehicle’s frame and the wheel hub assembly.
6. Hand-tighten the mounting bolts and then torque them to the specifications using a torque wrench.
7. Reinstall the wheel and tire assembly and lower the vehicle to the ground.
8. Repeat the same process on the other side if needed.
