Upgrade your off-road lighting with the Baja Designs XL40 LED Headlight Kit — purpose-built for 2013–2016 KTM motorcycles. Inspired by the performance of the XL80, the XL40 delivers 5,224 lumens of trail-proven illumination to a wider range of bikes. Engineered for dirt bikes with lower-output OEM stators, it draws just 43.5W — a powerful upgrade for riders who previously lacked a compatible premium option.
Paired with the signature XL Trail Lens, the XL40 produces both vertical and horizontal beam patterns with exceptional near-field and peripheral visibility. The Trail Lens redistributes center beam intensity to eliminate harsh hot spots — improving clarity through vertical transitions, quick elevation changes, and tight corners. The result is a smooth, evenly distributed field of light that inspires confidence in the most demanding terrain.
This kit replaces the OEM headlight unit and includes a KTM faceplate for precise fitment and easy installation.
